I was thinking about
What I love about trains
While riding the train
What relaxes me
About trains
About riding trains
They’re linear
They’re simple
They’re predictable
I have no control
I have no say
While riding the train
So I just sit
And wait
And observe
Will I be late?
What will I do when I get there?
It doesn’t matter while riding the train
The journey outside the train
The journey inside the train
Places and people come and go
And all I can do is sit
And observe
And ponder
It’s freeing
